Exclusive Nannies can help you to obtain one or all of the following:
National Police Check;
First Aid and CPR Certificates;
Working With Children Check.
First Aid certificate, National Police Check and Working With Children Check
First aid training is useful in all fields of work. In childcare however it’s a necessity! Children are more prone to injury and we cannot stress enough about the importance of knowing what to do in such situation. That is why we only register nannies who hold current CPR (HLTAID001) and First Aid certificates (HLTAID004). We can certainly help you with obtaining or renewing your certification. You can enrol in one of our First Aid workshops or enrol directly with the course provider of your choice.
Note: First Aid certificates (HLTAID004) require renewal every three years. CPR certificates (HLTAID001) require annual renewal.
First Aid training companies we recommend are:
National Police Check
In order to register with Exclusive Nannies*, you must hold, or be willing to apply for, a National Police Check. While some parents do not require it when they search for their nanny directly, it is very important for us to only provide our clients with fully screened nannies who are without any criminal convictions. You can apply for your Police Check through www.nationalcrimecheck.com.au or alternatively contact us and we can assist you with the process.
Working With Children Check (WWC)
Another very important requirement is the Working With Children Check. You must have one when you are working with children through our agency. If you need to obtain one, please visit www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au or ask one of our team members to assist you.
